The AGM of the LNER Society will be held on the 31st October 2026, at the Danum Gallery, Library & Museum in Doncaster, in the Flying Scotsman Room. At 10.30 for an 11:00hrs start.
The venue is open from 10:00hrs to 16:00hrs on the day so you will be able to explore its railway gallery which includes LNER class V2 No. 4771 Green Arrow, GNR class C1 Ivatt Atlantic No. 251 and the Doncaster Gramar School collection of artifacts.
We will break for lunch at 12:00hrs (there is a café on site)
At 13:00hrs we will reconvene and John Smart will lead a session on LNER passenger train formations using a selection of photographs where we hope the audience will join in an open discussion on the content of the photographs presented.
