The society’s locomotive made her last run before withdrawal for her 10 year overhaul on 21st November 2018. In perfect low level autumn sunshine at the head of the NNR’s Gresley quadart set. She looked an absolute picture.
The overhaul has now reached a significant stage with the return of the refurbished & retyred wheelsets to Stockton on Tees from the South Devon
N2 UPDATE 4 NOV 2019. After stripping of the loco at Weybourne the tender bidders and the boiler inspector were able to make detailed inspections.
