Meetings are held three times a year at easily accessible locations, when there are illustrated talks by well-known and learned speakers. The Society also attends a number of third party events and exhibitions as speakers and/or exhibitors.

    The Society with have a presence at a number of events over the coming months. The next event will be the Doncaster Festival of Railway Modelling at Doncaster Racecourse on 7th/8th February 2026 which has a Gresley 150th anniversary theme.
